Accessibility statement
1) Introduction
We appreciate your visit to our website and thank you for your interest. Below you will find information on the accessibility of our online services.
We inform you about:
- what range and functions you can expect on this website,
- how you can profit from this range and use these functions,
- which accessibility options are available to you, and

2) Range and functions of this website
This website is an online shop offering goods.
The goods mentioned are physical objects.
Goods are presented that can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then ordered and paid for.
This website has a header and footer menu.
In the header menu, the goods we offer are classified by category and can be accessed individually from there.
A separate detail page describes each product with further information on key features, scope of delivery and price. From there the product can be added to the electronic shopping cart.
Moreover, the electronic shopping cart can be accessed via the main menu once at least one item has been added. From this shopping cart, the electronic ordering process can be started and completed.
In the footer menu, you will find links to our company details with the contact details as well as information on the legal basis of our online offer, shipping and payment options and links to other useful service pages.
3) Explanation on the use of our range and functions
3.1 Virtual buttons
This website can be operated via virtual buttons.
3.2 Start-, overview- and detail pages
On the home page, a selection of offered products can be found in the middle of the page. Clicking on a product presentation takes you to the product detail page.
In the header menu, it is possible to navigate between the different product categories.
After selecting a category, one is taken to a summary page, where all products in this category are displayed.
Interacting with a product presentation on the overview page takes one to the product detail page. Besides all the essential information about the product and price, product detail pages have a shopping cart button.
In the shopping cart, the desired quantity can be defined or adjusted.
3.3 Electronic shopping cart
Clicking on the shopping cart button will add the product (if applicable in the selected quantity) to the electronic shopping cart.
This electronic shopping cart can then be accessed at any time via the header menu.
Here it is possible to check the added products. Using the corresponding buttons, products can be removed or, if relevant, its quantity be changed.
3.4 Electronic ordering process
After having checked the shopping basket, the electronic ordering process can be completed by using the corresponding buttons.
For this, one is first asked to fill in contact details (at least name, e-mail address and delivery or billing address). In the next step, the available delivery and service options can be selected.
Finally, one of the available payment methods can be chosen, the necessary payment details be entered and the order be completed.
The binding placement of the order only takes place when on the summary page the appropriate button is clicked. This button reads ‘Buy’, ‘Buy now’, ‘Order with obligation to pay’ or other clear wording.
Before pressing this order button, it is possible at any time to go back to the previous steps via the browser's ‘Back’ button or to pause and cancel the page and/or order process at any time.
If an online payment method has been chosen, one is forwarded from the final order page to the payment provider's system to make the payment there.
4) Legal requirements for accessibility
As an online shop, this website belongs to the so-called ‘e-commerce services’ and is characterised by an electronic ordering and payment option.
This is subject to special legal requirements for accessibility. In general, this website must provide functions and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable usability with the help of digital tools.
The online shop functions of this website should therefore be designed
- perceptible
- operable
- understandable and
- solid
Perceptibility means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they can be easily perceived by all users.
Operability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with mobility or mental disabilities.
Understandability requires that the online shop's information and functions are logically structured, easily identifiable and clearly labelled.
Solidity finally requires that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without limitations, even if users use digital tools.
If there are products offered for sale in the online shop that are subject to specific accessibility requirements, information on barrier-free use must be provided for such products, insofar as this is available.
5) Available accessibility tools
This website meets accessibility requirements through the following measures:
- Alt-texts for images: images in the online shop are provided with alternative texts, which give a short description of the image and can be processed by screen readers (screen reading aids).
- Font size adjustment option: the font size of the page content can be adjusted to make it as perceptible as possible for each user.
- Operability via mouse and keyboard: the functions of the online shop can be operated using both the mouse and the keyboard. Using the keys on the keyboard, the mouse pointer can be moved and operated in the online shop.
- Browser-independent page display: the content and functions of this website are available in an identical layout, orientation and resolution regardless of the browser used.
- Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): a programming language is used that separates the presentation of page content in terms of layout, colour and design from the content structure. This allows digital tools to use their own visibility schemes to display page content.
- Checked correctness of HTML codes: all HTML codes are permanently checked for functionality to rule out functional failures and lack of readability by digital tools.
- Sufficient space between characters: characters are displayed at a sufficient distance from each other to optimise readability.
- Responsive design (adaptation to different screen sizes): content, elements and functions automatically adjust their dimensions to the size of the screen used.
- Scalability (visibility when enlarged): page elements and content remain readable in high resolution, even when enlarged.
- Strong colour contrast: strong contrast between the colours of characters and backgrounds is preset for optimal visibility of page elements.
- Text notes if input fields are not filled in: if mandatory input fields are not filled in, a note in text form is displayed next to a coloured highlight. This note clarifies which information is missing from the input field.
- Subtitles in videos: embedded videos have subtitles so that people with hearing disabilities can watch them without difficulty.
